OH MY GOODNESS! I had the worst night ever yesterday. Woke up many, many, many times due to a blocked nose. I had to breathe through my mouth. Retainers + breathing through mouth = ultra dryness. My mouth felt like the sahara.

Throbbing headache in the morning. Head spinning, muscle aching. Temperature: 40.2 degrees celcius. Broke out in cold sweat. Took medicine. Just before leaving for the clinic, i took the holy communion. :)

Thank God my temperature has dropped to a 38.5 degrees celcius. I have a 2-day leave! Returning to school on wednesday.

I ate very little today. I had a kiwi fruit for breakfast although i wasn’t hungry. Then at 12+, i ate an apple and cereal with milk. I just had a little fish noodle soup. :)

Lydia and Dorcas texted me on what happened today and stuff. Thanks you guys. :)

I am at Dorcas’ house for a sleepover. And i am drinking ribena and water. :)

We’re searching for some new movies to watch online. Bad quality, long-to-load but free!

I have nothing better to do than to share a stupid joke. There were 10 fishes in a fish tank. One died. Did the water level rise, remain the same or fall? Try thinking of the answer before you look at the answers.

I cannot believe i am posting again! It was Lydia’s idea that i start blogging, so here i am. :)

Yesterday: We sat for A math paper 1, which was also our very last paper, hooray! The sums were difficult, but nothing, not even that, could get me down cos I was going to watch the long-awaited X Men Origins!!!!! Joyce, Dorcas, Yu Xian, Clara and I hopped onto bus 174 and made our way to Plaza Sing.

The movie was AWESOME!!!! And I hardly use this word! XD All the action, the sound effects, everything! But silly Joyce was covering her eyes with her jacket for 3/4 of the time there. “Its too scary and violent,” she said lamely.

Today my class went back to school for an NE quiz, which was actually a game. It was quite interesting :) but i am not going to elaborate on it. Lunched early at subway after the quiz. Lydia felt full after eating only half of her 6-inch sub. Haha. :) Reminded me of when she ate only 1 of the 3 hotcakes at Mac’s and felt full already. Lydia, you’re so funneee. :D

Right now the subway deal’s so hot everyone’s after it. But after the promos over, i bet everyone’ll steer away from subway cos they’re so bored of the food. :D I know i will.

Joyce, Jacq, Dorcas, Yu Xian, Clara, Jiamin and perhaps a few more people are most probably at Seoul Garden now stuffing their faces with cheap, weird food. I dislike it there, so i didn’t join them.

Yep, that’s all i can remember about today. Have fun doing your post-exam stuff everyone. :)

Went for some 6 hours of self-initiated CIP today at the Bishan Sports Hall. I think self-initiated CIPs are good fun because i can choose to do what i enjoy doing while getting CCA points. Glee. :D

Nevermind what i did. The food there was fantastic! For lunch there was lasagna (cheesy!), a chinese tofu dish, fried rice, satay, unusual assorted sandwiches (cheesy too!), cookies, fruit salad, veggie salad, and lots more stuff. :)

Ended up to tired so i didn’t go to church.

I spent most of my time there slacking with Wei Yi and Michelle. Heehee. :)

Okay, anyway, HSM 4 is confirmed. It airs next year on Disney channel. :( Its getting draggy, this movie thing and i think they should just end the whole thing.

And on a random note, I want the Miles To Go book!!!!!!! WHEE! XD   Ahahaha!

Oops!  Some corn-on-the-cob juice just squirted out when i sank my now not-so-straight teeth into it. Gotta Go! Perhaps my next post will be a more meaningful one, ;)

Wow, i am blogging for the second time today. Guess i really have nothing much to do at night. My mum is watching some 5 minutes of Little Nyonya now. I don’t really get it since i only watched 3 episodes and i am glad its over. I cannot understand why its such a hit tv show, even my pastor watches it. Haha.

Yep, anyway i was watching Metro Station’s seventeen forever video again and realised that Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley and Mitchel Musso are featured in it! HAHA! XD   I am real slow.

Today, the 2008 ‘O’ Level badge received their results. The two top scorers in my school both got 8 A1s, thank God. I will be the next top scorer! :D

Michelle got her Chinese results back too! A1! Congrats! XD

To all who will be sitting for the O levels this year, study hard and study smart, but most importantly, trust God.

I cannot believe im blogging at this hour. But i cannot sleep because i just came back from mummy’s birthday buffet at Sakura. Food was good but the ambience was bad. Sorry. Their windows looked like those from an old office building and the deco and furniture were totally not restaurant-y enough. I don’t think i will go back again in the next 5 years. :)

Pastor’s message today was just what i needed. Holy communion and the sower parable (or something like that, i forgot :p). If things don’t turn out the way it should…yet, it will soon. Just trust God and be patient.

I shall talk more about today some other time. My eyes are getting tired.

It has been a great day.

Morning: piano teacher was unable to come. Did not wake up as early. Headed for chinese tuition at about 10:40am. Chinese tuition has been one of the many tedious things i have to do and i was always reluctant to go but this year, i decided that i will learn everything i can from each lesson! :)

Afternoon: Came home, wrote a card for my mum, ate lunch and watched Friends. Then i went to listen to my piano CD and practise the piano. Yu xian suddenly called me to ask me for advice whether she should do something or not. Then i told her, bla bla bla… then we hung up. THEN! I SUDDENLY REMEMBERED I HAD TO ATTEND THE PRIZE GIVING CEREMONY AT KCPSS!! And i was late, i knew it! Although i lost the form, the form which had all the details.

It was already 3:30 and i thought i would lose the money because i thought i couldn’t go as it was too late. And i didn’t want to lose the money. So then i lost my mind and went beserk immediately. I did stuff ( not going to describe). I also started sobbing! HAHA! XD

Then i calmed down after some time and told myself. Since God blessed me with the prize money, why would He let it be taken away from me? So i decided to go even though i was late. I would get my cert and money even if i had to fight, snatch, claw or sue. I grabbed a uniform from the rack and saw that my face was red. I attempted to reduce the redness by slabbing moisturizer to make my face look paler but it didn’t work. Then i got my dad and we headed off.

We waited for the bus for about 3 minutes and arrived at the school. Then got registered ? Went up to take my seat and they were already halfway through the ceremony. But thankfully i was supposed to be sitting more to the back so it wasn’t my turn yet. At that moment the students 2 rows in front of me were just getting up to get their certificates. So thank God! :D Heee heee heee heee. :D

After the ceremony, we got 2 bread rolls and 2 packets of drinks as refreshments. My dad didn’t want his breadroll so he gave it to me! Hehe. Thanks for following me to the ceremony.

I realised that i went crazy for nothing and learnt that however bad the situation is, i would have to trust God. Yeah!

I decided that in every post i write, i have to add at least 1 bombastic vocabulary word to liven up my prosaic writing style. It will definitely help me in my ‘O’s.

1st sunday of 2009

Today’s sermon was great as usual. R&R by speaking in tongues (or something like that). Talked to Angela before she went in for 2nd service. Lunch at foodcourt. I ate chicken rice, mummy had chicken noodles and daddy had beef kway teow.

I am surprised i could concentrate during service today. I went to bed late last night and had difficulty getting up. So far, in all of the New Creation church services i’ve been to, i only dozed off once; the christmas service 2008. Couldn’t help it cos i had a late flight and slept at about 3:00am. And i don’t usually sleep at that time so i was really drowzy. Heh.

Later after lunch, we walked to marina square to get stuff from John Little and i bought Arnott’s tarts! DELISH! X) And i bought some funny drink which comprised of milk, blueberries and crushed ice. Funny but thirst quenching.

Yeah, then i took a nap for about an hour. Had trouble getting to nap cos my brother suddenly woke me up to ask me something.

After nap which was about 5+pm, i headed down to collect my GV card. 2nd last day to collect. Then i bought CDs at popular and read archie comics while waiting in line.

That’s about all. I am sweaty cos i just came back from a little jog. Haven’t jogged for a long time. Heh. Okay, there are no lessons tomorrow, so i am going to enjoy myself! :)
